(Iowa Capital Dispatch) - An Iowa nurse facing federal criminal charges for allegedly stealing patient medications has agreed to surrender his license. The Iowa Board of Nursing alleges Chad Ryan Hoppe, 49, of Le Mars was working at the Floyd Valley Health Center in Le Mars in March 2025 when he was observed giving an injection to a patient to whom he was not assigned as a care provider.
